Out of My League was mostly Shea's brainchild, and the mellow pop-punk vibe flows freely. It's your basic song about rejection, confusion, etc when it comes to girls. But, Shea wrote it while going out with Carrie so I think he didn't mean any of the things he wrote. What a poseur.
