Race Traitor

Behind the music: Race Traitor

Race Traitor is definitely our most serious song. Inspired by a story in a small booklet written by blacks for blacks called Race Traitor that Andy read, the song mixes a funky-metal riff and Rasta-ebonic rapping. It is about members of a race not sticking up for their "brothers", and calling them a race traitor, although the race traitor pamphlet, and the second verse, shows that this name could be taken more positively, indicating one who turned their back on the terrible things done by their race. In the song's case, "some o dees white folk remind me of bin Laden" is a brief commentary on skinheads, klansmen, and just plain dirty racist bastards.

Wheeee!!!!!! I'm a donkey!!!!!
